I am a life-long resident of the Bay Area and I've lived in Walnut Creek since 1994. I got my real estate license in 2001 and in 2005, after only four years in the business, I was awarded the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) credential from the National Association of Realtors. The CRS is the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers, and brokers, and it's held by fewer than 4% of Realtors in the United States. I am also an experienced short sale agent who lists and negotiates short sales on behalf of my own clients as well as for clients of other agents who don't like to work on short sales. In 2010, I earned the HAFA certification (Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternative) and I was awarded a CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) designation in 2011.
When you hire me to help you buy or sell a home, you work directly with me. I don't meet with you once then hand you off to an assistant or team member. I believe in one-on-one customer service, hands on, every day, 24/7, no exceptions. From the first day we meet to define your wants and needs until the day I hand you the keys to your new home or a check from the sale of your home, your goals are my top priority. And our relationship doesn't end when escrow closes; I am always available to answer questions, provide market updates, share my list of reliable vendors, and give you my honest professional opinion.
My approach to buying and selling real estate is analytical, fact-based and numbers-driven, which helps to take some of the emotion out of the process. If clients are equipped with good information, they can make solid decisions and remain confident that they are buying the right house as well as making a good financial investment. Whether advising on a sale or assisting with a purchase, I will work hard to make sure you understand the unique conditions of your particular market.
Prior to real estate, I worked in the advertising/marketing industry for 22 years. I produced high-end advertising and marketing materials for Fortune 500 companies including Apple, Bank of America, Hewlett-Packard, Starbucks, Disney, Pixar, and many more.
